004 - Quiz TAHM! Round FOUR! FINAL ROUND!
The lovely little Filmsquish™ veneer was certainly a nasty thing for last week's quiz. Here is the original film image without it.
Yep, Renée, Nicole and Jude need no last name to be recognized, and for those who've seen this modern retelling of Homer's The Odyssey set during the Civil War, you will fondly remember the musical moments played by Jack White of The White Stripes as well as the naked white body of Nicole Kidman - hubba hubba. That's Cold Mountain my friends.
Many a guess for Open Range, and even one correct guess with the additional comment of "that's totally Renée Zellweger under that hat!" made for a tough round, but we still have many of you tied for first.
It's already the last round of the first Filmsquish™ Quiz, and with so many winners lined up, I'll have to make it a smidgeon different. This round might just let some laggers catch up, while those in the lead have a chance to soar ahead because today we're shootin' for three full points. Here is the first image with a touch of the Filmsquish™ veneer:
As always I want, for one point, the title of this film, for a second point, what is the title of the film in the image below, and for a third bonus point, I'd like to know who connects these two films:
Name those movies!
This final round, as with all rounds before, will end when the next round begins, when you can start all over again with a chance to win your choice of a film from my own personal collection!
The rules are simple: look at the images with the Filmsquish™ veneer added to them. It may be a film screencap, a film poster, Hell maybe even a rebus. What I want from you is the title of BOTH films. Hovering your mouse over the picture may or may not reveal a clue. For a bonus point, tell me who these two films have in common.
Quiz day is Monday! Next Monday the winner will be decided! I'll also be so kind as to put their name up in lights.
